I didn't have any very good whisky at home for some months now, and it's time to order again.
But what to choose? There are so many I want to taste and other whiskies I already know and would like to order again.
There definitely has to be a bottle of
Tomintoul Peaty Tang again. I loved that Whisky so much last time that I just have to order it again. (See also what I wrote about it on
https://friendika.zottel.net/profile/whisky .)
I'd also like some
Ardbeg TEN and a
Caol Ila again, but I don't want to buy more than three bottles.
Others I'd like to taste:
- Ardmore Traditional Cask
- Big Peat: It doesn't have the traditional look I like abaout Whisky at all, but since I buy more expensive Whisky, I've never tasted a good blend yet, and this one seems to have won a prize for the best blended whisky.
- Jura Superstition: I did taste it once, but that was a few years ago, and I don't remember how it tasted.
- Oban: I tasted it once, too, of course, but that was even longer ago. I'm a bit doubtful about that "Classic Malts of Scotland" label, though, thinking that it leads to too much distillery production and thus less quality.
- Talisker (10 yrs)
Ok. I ordered Tomintoul Peaty Tang, Ardmore Traditional Cask (because my favorite online Whisky store currently has it as special offer), and Jura Superstition (because I wanted to taste that one for a long time already).
Expect some words about these whiskies soon!
